Farewell Kansas.

If there is one thing I will miss the MOST about Kansas, it’s my dear friend, Jaimee.

BUT that’s not what this post is going to be about.

It’s about the Kansas sky.

My favorite past time from Kansas is just sitting in the backyard with Chad enjoying the sunset and a cocktail. I have seen some of the most beautiful skylines right there in Southwest Kansas.

I’ve got a few pictures of the skyline that I’ve taken over the past couple of years that I will share.

There is nothing more peaceful, I swear.

The colors were always so vibrant and beautiful.

This was actually a picture I snapped as a storm was rolling in. The clouds before the storm were always so scary!!

This was the skyline DURING a storm. It was lightening constantly so it was very easy for me to get a shot like this!

This is one of my favorites. I hope we can see sunsets like this from our new house.

I might even print one off to hang in our new home.

The last picture from our backyard. I will miss it so much!

This wasn’t from our yard, but it was from the fields by my husbands work.

The skies are beautiful during the daytime, too!

Now do you understand why I miss it already?

I don’t miss the crazy weather, the snakes, the poisonous spiders, how dry it is, or the extremely strong winds.

…but the skies were breathtaking.
