Artwork

It’s so crazy how being a home owner has really inspired my creativity.

When we first purchased our home, I was looking into purchasing artwork to hang in our house. I read that you should decorate your house with original artwork so your house stand out from the rest. I fell in love with that idea…but NOT the price of original artwork.

I decided it was time for me to start doing my own artwork to hang up. It’s been a trying process and definitely a learning experience. The amazing thing is that my super awesome hubby supports my paintings 100%. He believes in me and my abilities.

Here are most of the paintings I’ve done for our house.

Some of my paintings were pilfered by my friends, since they loved them so much, bless their little big hearts!

This was my first ever [super + easy] painting that I attempted:

I was totally into Chevron at the time!

I made this for Chad as a valentines day gift. I’m sure I enjoy it more than he does…but it’s the thought that counts, right?

Super simple AND super cute!!

I made this for our nephews nursery. I must admit, it matched his nursery pretty darn well πŸ™‚

This is one of my favorites. The bright colors just makes my heart happy and it reminds me of summer!!

This is another favorite. I think the bold colors really make a statement.

These paintings are super fun for the wall in our living room! I’ve got them ‘layered’ in my house — just separated them for the picture πŸ™‚

That’s all I’ve got for now.

I will add more as I go.

I can promise you I will have more!!

…because painting makes me happy and makes my heart sing! πŸ™‚
